Currency Rates: Dollar Drops, Euro and Pound Rise

The US dollar, Kuwaiti dinar and Bahraini dinar have slightly declined in value, while the Australian dollar, euro and British pound have appreciated. The US dollar is being bought at Rs 136.24 and sold at Rs 136.84, down slightly from yesterday’s Rs 136.30 and Rs 136.90.

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has released foreign currency exchange rates for Wednesday (May 14), showing minor changes in several currencies. 

The US dollar, Kuwaiti dinar and Bahraini dinar have slightly declined in value, while the Australian dollar, euro and British pound have appreciated. The US dollar is being bought at Rs 136.24 and sold at Rs 136.84, down slightly from yesterday’s Rs 136.30 and Rs 136.90. 

The euro has gone up, with today’s buying and selling rates at Rs 151.36 and Rs 152.02, compared to yesterday’s Rs 151.27 and Rs 151.94. 

The British pound is also slightly stronger, trading at Rs 179.95 (buying) and Rs 180.74 (selling), up from Rs 179.40 and Rs 180.19. The Australian dollar is being bought at Rs 87.36 and sold at Rs 87.74, slightly higher than yesterday’s Rs 87.13 and Rs 87.51. 

Meanwhile, the Kuwaiti dinar has dipped to Rs 442.97 (buying) and Rs 444.92 (selling), compared to Rs 443.18 and Rs 445.13 the previous day. The Bahraini dinar has slightly decreased to Rs 361.40 (buying) and Rs 362.99 (selling), down from Rs 361.54 and Rs 363.13 yesterday.
