Voting at the ongoing General Convention of the CPN-UML has been delayed because of technical problems, according to the party’s Election Commission.

Voting was first planned to start at 12 noon on Tuesday. It was later postponed to 4 pm after issues were found while preparing the ballot papers. However, voting could not begin even at that time because the technical work was still not complete.

Due to the continued delay, the Election Commission decided to extend the voting schedule again. Commission members said they are working to fix the technical problems and to make sure proper support is available for voters and all concerned parties.

The commission said it is trying to solve the issues as soon as possible so that voting can begin smoothly and in a fair and reliable manner.
