Corruption Case Filed Against Mayor Of Nagarjun Municipality

A corruption case has been filed against the Mayor of Nagarjun Municipality, Mohan Bahadur Basnet. 

The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority has filed a case against Basnet on charges of corruption and money laundering. 

The Mayor is accused of taking a bribe of 9 crore 22 lakh 46 thousand 32, which was allegedly increased to 13 crore 12 lakh 73 thousand 32, prompting the filing of the case by the Commission.
