Cloudy Weather with Chances of Rain Across Nepal Today

The weather will remain mostly cloudy across the country today (Monday), with chances of rain in several areas, according to the Weather Forecasting Division.

This afternoon, skies are expected to be partly to mostly cloudy nationwide. Light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning is likely in hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces. A few other areas may also receive light rainfall. Some high hilly and mountainous regions may experience light rain or snowfall.

Tonight, similar conditions will continue. The Division forecasts light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in the hilly parts of Koshi and Gandaki provinces, and at a few other isolated places. Light rain or snow is also expected in some high hill and mountain areas.

Meteorologists say that the current weather is influenced by westerly and local winds in western and central Nepal, while most parts of Koshi Province are experiencing monsoon winds.
