A passenger bus carrying around 35 people veered off the East-West Highway in Khajuri Khola, Madhyabindu-8, Nawalpur, on Friday morning, leaving more than 20 passengers injured.
The bus (registration LU 2 Kha 2845) was traveling from Narayanghat to Butwal when it fell approximately 15 meters into a ditch.
Police spokesperson DSP Madhu Nepal said the injured were immediately rescued and taken to Madhyabindu Provincial Hospital in Danda. All passengers are reported to be out of danger.
