NEPSE inches down as market sees mixed movement

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) closed slightly lower on Thursday, dipping by 0.93 points despite a trading turnover of Rs 4.68 billion.

Market performance remained mixed, with 138 companies posting losses, 112 gaining, and 6 remaining unchanged.

Among the day’s highlights, Dhaulagiri Laghubitta emerged as the top gainer for sellers, while Bungal Hydropower recorded the heaviest loss.

Sector-wise, the sub-indices of Hotels & Tourism, Hydropower, Manufacturing & Processing, Microfinance, Others, and Trading closed in positive territory, whereas the remaining sectors slipped into the red.
