An artist known for his role as a police inspector in a popular comedy serial has landed in police net—for gambling.
Police arrested artist Purushottam Acharya, who helms the role of inspector in the popular tele-serial titled ‘Sakkigoni’ while he was gambling at Gaurighat, Kathmandu metropolis-8, on Saturday evening, along with 10 other gamblers.
The police team involved in the operation recovered Rs 1.7 lakh and 16 books of playing cards.
