Armed Robbers Loot Nepal SBI Bank in Sindhuli

On Tuesday evening, an armed group robbed Nepal SBI Bank in Ghyanglekh Rural Municipality, Sindhuli.

 

According to Sindhuli Police, the robbery happened around 7:45 pm and was well planned. During the attack, security guard Rudra Karki was injured. The robbers tied up the bank staff, assaulted the guard, and escaped with cash in bags, running toward a nearby forest.

 

Later that night, locals found some of the stolen money in the area.

 

A team from Bastipur Area Police Office arrived at the scene immediately. Additional police, led by DSP Surya Prakash Subedi of Sindhuli District Police Office, have joined the search. Police, with help from local residents, are searching the forest and surrounding areas to catch the robbers.

 

The exact amount of money stolen has not been confirmed yet.
