Global IME Bank has launched a new initiative, the "Global Haat Bazaar," aimed at helping small and medium entrepreneurs showcase their products. Held every Friday at the bank's Kamaladi branch in Kathmandu, this event allows local businesses to expand their customer reach and promote homegrown products. The program's motto, "Entrepreneurship Production, Global IME's Promotion," underscores its commitment to supporting local enterprises and fostering a sustainable economy.
Surendra Raj Regmi, the CEO of Global IME Bank and the driving force behind the initiative, emphasized that the program is designed to encourage the growth of small businesses by promoting locally made products. The market will feature a variety of items, including pesticide-free fruits and vegetables, local crops, handicrafts, and decorative plants.
Global IME Bank, recognized as Nepal's Best Bank by Global Finance and winner of the Euromoney Award for Excellence in 2024, operates across all 77 districts of the country. With 1,100 service points, including branches, ATMs, and representative offices, the bank offers comprehensive banking services. Additionally, it provides remittance services from countries such as the USA, UK, and Australia, making financial services accessible to a wider community.
