Both western and local winds, along with some moist air coming from the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea, are affecting the country, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.

Some hilly and mountainous areas may get light to moderate rain, with thunder and lightning. A few mountain regions are also likely to experience light snowfall.

Tonight, hilly areas will remain partly cloudy, while the rest of the country is expected to have clear skies.

There is a chance of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in one or two places in the hills, and a few mountainous areas may get light rain or snowfall.
