Donald Trump will be sworn as US President, starting on Monday to another four-year tenure. On his return, he has vowed to use more executive power, deport millions of immigrants and change America’s role globally.

Speaking to a large crowd at Washington, DC, Trump shared his plans for the next four years and celebrated his election win over the Democrats.

He pledged to take bold actions on his own, including starting mass deportations, cutting environmental regulations, and ending diversity programs.  He also announced orders to eliminate diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) policies in the military, halt transgender women from competing in female sports, and shift education control back to individual states.

Immigration will be Trumps key focus, with him pledging to launch mass deportation operations targeting undocumented migrants. These operations would aim to remove individuals who are in the country without proper legal status.

Trump has further announced plans to pardon individuals who were involved in the January 6 Capital riots, whom he referred to as “hostages”. This decision reflects his strong support for these individuals, who were part of the events that disrupted Congress in 2021.

These actions, along with other executive orders, demonstrate a bold and controversial start to his presidency. However, many of these orders are likely to face legal battles, as critics and opponents may challenge their legality in court. This suggests that Trump’s plans could encounter significant obstacles before being fully implemented.
