The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority has arrested Tirtharaj Bhattarai, chief of the Immigration Office at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, on the suspicion of his nexus with human trafficking syndicates.
The constitutional anti-corruption agency has also seized his mobile phone to bring relevant document under scanner as part of its efforts to dig deeper into a possible nexus.
