The Remand Hearing For The Sunyadarshan Cooperative Case Started

The remand hearing for the Sunyadarshan Cooperative case in Pokhara, Kaski, started today. 

The remand hearing began today after the statements of seven individuals, including Ravi Lamichhane, the president of the National Independent Party (Raswpa), were completed.
According to the Chief Registrar of Kaski District Court, Chief Rajan Khanal informed that the statements of Ravi and the other six individuals involved in the case were finished on Tuesday, and the first day of the remand hearing has concluded. Following today's hearing, Ravi and the others who were detained have been sent back to custody.

The individuals whose statements were recorded include Ravi Lamichhane, former Gorkha Media Network operator Chhavilal Joshi, GB's partner Lila Pochhahi, Nature Herbs operator Rambahadur Khanal, former MP Meena Gurung, former treasurer Aarti Gurung, and former operator Lalitbahadur Gurung.

The Kaski District Government Attorney's Office has filed a case against 44 individuals, including Lamichhane, for misuse of funds from the cooperative.
