Gold Increased By NPR 100 Per Tola.

The price of gold in the local market went up slightly on Monday.

The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association reported that the price of hallmark gold was NPR 155,800 per tola. The day before, the price was NPR 155,700 per tola.

Gold prices have been rising recently. On January 6, the price of gold was NPR 152,000 per tola, which means it has gone up by NPR 3,800 since then.

A few weeks ago, the government lowered customs duties, which led to a drop in gold prices. But with the recent increase in international gold prices, the local market has also seen higher prices, according to gold and silver traders.

On the other hand, the price of silver stayed the same on Monday. The price was NPR 1,860 per tola on Sunday and remained unchanged on Monday, according to the Federation.
