A tragic explosion and fire broke out at a chemicals factory located in the Pashamylaram industrial area of Sangareddy district in Telangana, India. 

 

The accident has so far claimed the lives of 34 people, with many others injured. According to reports from BBC Hindi, 35 individuals have been hurt and are currently receiving medical treatment in hospitals. In addition to those injured, 24 people are still missing, and search efforts are underway to locate them.

 

At the time of the incident, 57 workers inside the factory were reported safe. The sudden explosion shocked the entire community and left many families devastated. Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his deep sorrow over the tragic accident through a message on social media. He said he was extremely saddened by the loss of lives and extended his heartfelt condolences to the families affected.

 

To support those impacted by the tragedy, the Prime Minister announced financial aid from the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund. Families of the deceased will receive two lakh rupees each, while those injured will get 50,000 rupees as compensation. 

 

In a compassionate response, the Bihar government also declared that it would provide similar financial assistance to the families of the victims from Bihar and support the injured. 

 

This devastating incident has raised many questions about safety measures in industrial areas, and authorities are now focusing on rescue and relief operations to help those affected.
