Rabi Lamichhane Suspended from Parliamentary Committee

Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chair Rabi Lamichhane has been suspended from his position in the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee. 

The move follows his earlier suspension from the federal parliament due to ongoing legal proceedings.

Committee chairperson Ramhari Khatiwada announced the suspension on Tuesday, citing serious charges against Lamichhane, including cooperative fraud, organized crime, and money laundering. The charges are currently under review in the Kaski District Court.
