Some Gen-Z delegates expressed their dissatisfaction outside Shital Niwas after being barred from participating in discussions between President Ram Chandra Poudel, Prime Minister Sushila Karki, and Gen-Z representatives.
Initially, 17 delegates were scheduled to join the talks, but sources say the number was later increased to over 20. However, several representatives, including Purushottam Yadav, Samvidhan Prasai, and Khemraj Saud, were not allowed inside.
Frustrated by the exclusion, the delegates briefly staged a protest outside. Khemraj Saud, a senior Gen-Z leader, criticized the arrangement, saying, “We were not allowed to enter despite being promised access yesterday.” Other representatives also accused Gen-Z leader Sudan Gurung of misleading them.
The incident briefly created a tense atmosphere in the Shital Niwas premises, though the discussions inside continued with the included delegates from Nepal and other Gen-Z groups.
