President Ram Chandra Paudel has emphasized that the upcoming elections must be conducted in a fair, free, and fearless environment.

 

Addressing the program on the occasion of the 25th Armed Police Force Day on Friday, he stated that the elections are linked to the consolidation of the constitution, federal democratic republic, stability, good governance, and development. He expressed confidence that security agencies would leave no stone unturned in ensuring a fair, free, and fearless election process, alongside the enthusiastic participation of political parties and citizens.

 

He recalled that security agencies have always been at the forefront during national crises and disasters. “When the nation faces problems, disasters occur, challenges arise at the borders, or the state’s economy weakens, you are always at the front line. Indeed, the duty of security agencies is to maintain peace and security and work for the best interest of the nation and its people. The constitution, democracy, and the trust of the people are the greatest strength of this organization. The trust visible in the eyes of citizens and the pride in the hearts of the nation will continue to define it,” he said.

 

President Paudel highlighted the important role played by the Armed Police Force in conducting the first Constituent Assembly election in 2008 and subsequent elections in a fearless, free, and fair manner. He added that the upcoming elections are crucial for strengthening the constitution, federal democratic republic, stability, good governance, and development. With the keen interest and enthusiastic participation of political parties, the security agencies will fully ensure the elections are conducted in a fair, free, and fearless environment.

 

He expressed confidence that the Armed Police Force will play an effective role in the upcoming elections.
