Gold Price Surpasses Rs 300,000 per Tola, Hits Record High

The domestic gold market has witnessed an unprecedented surge, with prices crossing Rs 300,000 per tola for the first time. The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association fixed today’s gold rate at Rs 301,400 per tola, setting a new record.

The sharp increase of Rs 9,200 per tola in a single day comes after a decline of Rs 2,900 per tola on Thursday, when gold traded at Rs 292,200 per tola.

Market analysts attribute the volatility to fluctuations in the international gold market as well as domestic demand trends, signaling continued uncertainty for investors and traders.
