Pakistan has launched a military counter-operation named ‘Bunyan-ul-Marsous’ in response to India’s recent airstrikes under ‘Operation Sindoor’. According to Pakistan’s military wing ISPR, their strikes targeted Indian airbases in Udhampur and Pathankot, and a BrahMos missile storage site in Beas, Punjab.

Pakistani Army spokesperson Ahmad Sharif said India had attacked three Pakistani airbases — Noor Khan, Murid and Rafiqui — but claimed all military structures remained safe. He also alleged some Indian missiles may have landed in Afghanistan, though no evidence was shown immediately.

Meanwhile, India’s Defense Ministry reported spotting 26 suspicious armed drones across areas from Baramulla to Bhuj, warning of potential damage to civilian and military structures. A drone attack in Firozpur injured several civilians, now under treatment.

India has deployed anti-drone systems and urged border residents to stay indoors and follow security advisories. The name ‘Bunyan-ul-Marsous’, meaning “a strong, united wall,” reflects Pakistan’s message of unity and strength in national defense.

As tensions grow, both nations remain on high alert, and global observers watch the situation closely.
