According to Ministry of Finance spokesperson Tanka Prasad Pandey, “Due to the Gen-Z protest, there were some challenges in the first quarter, but revenue collection has picked up recently, and there is a strong possibility of meeting the targets in the coming months.”

He added, “All subordinate agencies have been directed to prevent revenue leakage and ensure collection according to the target.”
