The first meeting of the newly formed Central Working Committee of Nepali Congress, led by newly elected President Gagan Kumar Thapa, has begun.
The meeting is underway at a party palace in Kupandol, Lalitpur, with participation from the committee’s office bearers and members. The committee was formed following the party’s second special general convention held from Pus 27 to 30, at Bhrikuti Mandap, where Thapa was unanimously elected as party president and a 166-member Central Working Committee was constituted.



This meeting is considered significant, especially amid the party’s recent divisions. Discussions are expected to focus on the organizational status of the party, current political issues, and upcoming strategies. – News Agency Nepal
