KP Sharma Oli, Chairman of the CPN-UML, has said that the environment for the election scheduled for Falgun 21 has not yet been created.
Speaking to journalists at Bharatpur Airport on Sunday, Oli claimed that the government itself still has much to understand about the electoral atmosphere, making it difficult to clearly assess the situation at this stage.
“The government is the one that knows about the election environment. From what we see, it does not appear that the atmosphere has been created yet,” he said. “If elections are held, we will participate. It is still not possible to say for sure about the election environment.”
Oli added that his party will take part in the elections if they are conducted.
