Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) and PATA Nepal Chapter (PNC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly organize the fifth Himalayan Travel Mart (HTM 2025), scheduled to be held from June 3-5 at The Soaltee, Kathmandu.
Deepak Raj Joshi, CEO of NTB, and Narendra Deo Bhatta, General Secretary of PNC, signed the MoU.
This year’s HTM marks two significant milestones: the 50th anniversary of the PNC and the 75th anniversary of the first ascent of Mount Annapurna by renowned mountaineer Maurice Herzog of France, whose family will be visiting Nepal.
As Nepal’s premier international travel and tourism trade show, HTM 2025 aims to highlight the country’s tourism potential through a dynamic blend of B2B networking, expert-led conferences, and immersive experiences tailored for global buyers, media, influencers and tourism professionals.
Under the MoU, NTB will serve as the organizing partner, providing vital support for branding, promotion and hospitality for hosted international delegates, while PNC will take the lead in curating and executing the event.
HTM 2025 is expected to significantly boost Nepal’s international tourism positioning and foster stronger global partnerships for the nation’s travel trade sector.
