NEPSE Sees 6.78-Point Gain, River Falls Power Leads Turnover

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) saw a modest increase today, rising by 6.78 points to close at 2,607.99. This positive move follows a continued gain from the previous session. The index started the day at 2,602.89 and experienced fluctuations throughout the trading session.

The total turnover for the day was recorded at Rs. 6.57 billion, involving 311 listed companies. However, only 243 companies had transactions. Among them, 118 companies advanced, 117 declined, and 8 remained unchanged, indicating a generally positive trend in the market.

River Falls Power Limited (RFPL) led the turnover chart with trades worth Rs. 24.01 crores. The stock closed at Rs. 1,328 per share, reflecting strong investor interest. This continued demand for RFPL shares highlights investor confidence in the market.
