The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) closed slightly down on Tuesday, dipping by 0.53 points to settle at 2,644.70, even as trading activity remained strong with a turnover of Rs 4.48 billion.
Market data showed a mixed performance: prices of 125 listed companies rose, 119 declined and 13 remained unchanged.
Despite the marginal fall in the benchmark index, most sectoral sub-indices posted gains, reflecting underlying market confidence and steady investor participation.
