Nepal Women Lose to Netherlands by Two Runs in T20 World Cup Qualifier

Nepal’s women’s cricket team faced their second straight loss in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifier on Thursday. Playing at the Tribhuvan University ground in Kirtipur, Nepal were narrowly beaten by the Netherlands by just two runs.

Chasing a target of 141 runs, Nepal scored 138 runs while losing five wickets, falling just short of the target.

The qualifier includes ten teams, and the top four teams will qualify for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, which will be held in England and Wales in June 2026.
