Nepal Rastra Bank Updates, US Dollar Hits Record High

Nepal Rastra Bank has announced the foreign currency exchange rates for today (Wednesday), with the US dollar reaching its highest value ever. Yesterday, the buying rate for the dollar was NPR 135.90 with selling rate being NPR 136.50, today with the slight rise but making it the highest ever, the buying and selling rate for the dollar is NPR 136.03 and NPR 136.63 respectively. 

Other major currencies, including the euro, pound sterling, Kuwaiti dinar, and Bahraini dinar, have also shown an increase. The euro is now traded at a buying rate of NPR 141.47 and a selling rate of NPR 142.10, showing a slight rise from yesterday’s buying and selling rates of NPR 141.32 and NPR 141.94, respectively.

The pound sterling stands at NPR 170.51 for buying and NPR 171.27 for selling with slightest increase than yesterday’s rate of NPR 170.44 (buying) and of NPR 171.19 (selling). 

Similarly, the Kuwaiti dinar is traded at NPR 441.37 for buying and NPR 443.32 for selling rate. And the Bahraini dinar stands at NPR 360.44 for buying and NPR 362.03 for selling. 

However, the Australian dollar saw a slight drop, with its buying rate at NPR 84.79 and selling rate at NPR 85.16, compared to yesterday’s rates of NPR 84.95 and NPR 85.33. These fluctuations reflect ongoing trends in the global financial market.
