The Manakamana Cable Car has halted operations for three days starting today in observance of the Dashain festival.
Company manager Ujjwal Sherchan said the service will resume on Saturday, October 4.
In operation since 1998, the Manakamana Cable Car is Nepal’s first cable car service and carries thousands of devotees to the famed Manakamana Temple in Sahid Lakhan Thapa Rural Municipality, Gorkha.
