Main Suspect Behind May 28 Jadibuti Arson Arrested

Police have arrested Kumar Tamang (27), a permanent resident of Ramche, Barhabishe municipality-9, Kavre district, on the charge of smashing traffic lights at Jadibuti Chowk and setting the Herbs Production and Processing Center during the protest of pro-royalist forces at Koteshwor-Tinkune area on March 28. A team from the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office, Teku arrested Tamang, the main suspect. 

Police have made a number of arrests in the wake of incidents of arson, vandalism and looting that took place during the protest, apart from the loss of two lives in Tinkune and Jadibuti.
