Kathmandu Mayor Balen Sah is reportedly in the process of forming a new political party under his leadership. A dedicated team, including Sah himself, has been actively consulting with leaders from various political parties, journalists, civil society representatives, artists, and other professionals.

 

On Wednesday, Sah spent the night in Kupandol, Lalitpur, engaging in both individual and group discussions with a range of personalities. According to sources, these discussions are expected to continue today.

 

Participants in the talks included representatives from Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), Janamat Party, Nagarik Unmukti Party Nepal, and the Jan-Jati Front, along with several journalists. Notable attendees included Resham Lal Chaudhary and Milan Pandey from Nagarik Unmukti, Jan-Jati Front coordinator Raksha Bam, and Sagaar Dhakal, who has previously contested elections with Sher Bahadur Deuba.

 

Journalists Suraj Singh Thakuri and Rishi Dhamala were also part of the discussions. Sources indicate that Sah’s team plans to continue consultations with various individuals as part of their strategy to establish the new political party.
