House to Discuss Key Bills Today

The House of Representatives is scheduled to meet today at 1:00 PM at the Federal Parliament Building in New Baneshwor. During the meeting, the Secretary of the House of Representatives, Harkaraj Rai, will present messages received from the National Assembly regarding two bills—the Bill to Amend Some Nepal Acts, 2080, and the Exchange Bill, 2080. Both of these bills were originally introduced in the House of Representatives.

The agenda also includes discussions on three major bills: the Appropriation Bill, 2082, the Economic Bill, 2082, and the National Debt Recovery Bill, 2082, along with related messages from the National Assembly. Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies, Damodar Bhandari, is expected to present the Industrial Property Bill, 2082. In addition, Minister for Youth and Sports, Tejulal Chaudhary, may present the National Sports Development (First Amendment) Bill, 2082.

The meeting will also feature the presentation of the 62nd annual report from the Auditor General and the annual report of the Agricultural Cooperatives and Natural Resources Committee.
