Money Exchange: Euro and Pound Up, Aussie and Bahraini Dinar Down

Nepal Rastra Bank has published the foreign exchange rates for today (Monday). The US dollar has remained unchanged, while the values of some foreign currencies like the Australian dollar and Bahraini dinar have gone down slightly. On the other hand, the euro, British pound, and Kuwaiti dinar have increased in value.

As per the central bank, today’s buying rate for 1 US dollar is NPR 136.34, and the selling rate is NPR 136.94, which is the same as yesterday. The euro has gone up just a little, with the buying rate now at NPR 160.59 and the selling rate at NPR 161.30, compared to yesterday’s rates of NPR 160.58 and NPR 161.29.

The British pound has also increased slightly. Today, it is being bought at NPR 186.15 and sold at NPR 186.97. Yesterday, the rates were NPR 186.10 for buying and NPR 186.92 for selling.

The Australian dollar has dropped a little, with today’s buying rate at NPR 89.34 and selling rate at NPR 89.74. This is slightly lower than yesterday’s buying rate of NPR 89.43 and selling rate of NPR 89.82.

The Kuwaiti dinar has gone up slightly. It is now being bought at NPR 447.16 and sold at NPR 449.13, compared to yesterday’s NPR 446.67 and NPR 448.64.

Meanwhile, the Bahraini dinar has decreased a bit. Today’s buying rate is NPR 361.64 and selling rate is NPR 363.24, which is slightly lower than yesterday’s rates of NPR 361.67 and NPR 363.26.
