House of Representatives to Meet Today for Bill Debate and Committee Reports

The House of Representatives will meet today (May 15) at 11 am at the Federal Parliament Building in New Baneshwor.

During the meeting, lawmakers will continue discussing the main goals and priorities of the Appropriation Bill for the fiscal year 2025-26. This discussion does not include matters related to taxes. The debate on this bill started again last Tuesday.

Rajkishore Yadav, the chair of the International Relations and Tourism Committee, will present the committee’s annual report whereas Bimala Subedi, who leads the Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee, will present that committee’s annual report for the fiscal 2024-25.
