HoR Holds Final Policy Debate Today

The House of Representatives will continue its meeting today, starting at 11 am, as announced by the Parliament Secretariat.

The main focus of today’s session is the final round of discussions on the government’s policies and plans for the upcoming fiscal year 2082-083 (2025-26).

Lawmakers who haven't spoken yet will have the chance to share their views during the remaining time.

The discussion on these policies has been going on since Monday. Out of the 18 hours set aside for the debate, only three hours are left, and the Parliament Secretariat has confirmed that the discussion will end today.

The schedule for approving the policies and plans has already been set, and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is expected to respond in both Houses on May 11.
