Gold price surges nationwide, reaches Rs 239,000 per tola

Gold prices across Nepal saw a notable rise on Thursday, climbing by Rs 2,700 per tola to reach Rs 239,000, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association.

The price had stood at Rs 236,300 per tola on Wednesday. After several days of decline, the precious metal has once again gained momentum in the domestic market.

Similarly, silver prices have also increased. Silver, which was traded at Rs 2,980 per tola yesterday, rose by Rs 80 to reach Rs 3,060 today, the federation reported.
