Gold Price Surges by Rs 4,900 in Local Market

The price of gold in Nepal jumped sharply on Tuesday, increasing by nearly Rs 5,000 per tola. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, fine gold is now trading at Rs 246,400 per tola, up from Rs 241,500 on Monday.

Silver prices also saw an upward trend, rising by Rs 105 per tola to reach Rs 3,170. Traders attribute the hike to rising global prices and increased demand in the local market.
