The price of gold in Nepal has increased by Rs 3,000 per tola, reaching Rs 238,000 on Sunday, the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association reported.
The rise follows two consecutive days of stability, with gold trading at Rs 235,000 per tola on Friday and Saturday. Earlier, on Thursday, the yellow metal had reached an all-time high of Rs 239,200 per tola before dropping by Rs 4,200 the following day.
Similarly, silver prices also climbed today, gaining Rs 40 per tola to trade at Rs 3,125 per tola, marking the highest level recorded so far. On Friday, silver was priced at Rs 3,085 per tola.
Analysts attribute the recent surge in precious metal prices to global market fluctuations and increased investor demand amid ongoing economic uncertainty.
