Gold Price Reaches Record High of Rs 200,600 per Tola in Nepal

Gold prices in Nepal climbed to a historic high on Friday, crossing the Rs 200,000 per tola mark for the first time.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold rose by Rs 1,200 per tola, reaching Rs 200,600 per tola, compared to Rs 199,400 per tola on Thursday.

Silver also edged up in today’s market. Its price increased by Rs 5 per tola, with the new rate fixed at Rs 2,360 per tola, against Thursday’s Rs 2,355 per tola.

The rise in prices comes amid ongoing global uncertainties and fluctuations in the international bullion market, which directly influences domestic rates.
