Gold prices in Nepal reached a historic peak on Wednesday, setting a new record in the domestic market. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold climbed to an unprecedented Rs 248,900 per tola.
This marks an increase of Rs 400 compared to Tuesday’s rate of Rs 248,500 per tola, continuing the upward trend that has persisted for several weeks.
While gold prices have soared to record levels, silver has seen a notable drop. The price of silver, which stood at Rs 3,325 per tola on Tuesday, fell by Rs 85 to Rs 3,240 per tola today, offering slight relief to buyers.
