Gold prices in Nepal soared to an unprecedented level on Friday, reaching Rs 258,000 per tola, marking the highest rate ever recorded in the domestic market. The surge comes amid continuing global economic uncertainties and rising demand for safe-haven assets.
The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association reported that gold jumped by Rs 7,100 per tola from Thursday’s rate of Rs 250,900. Silver also saw gains, climbing Rs 110 per tola to reach Rs 3,350.
