Gold Hits Record High in Nepal, Silver Also Sees Increase

The domestic gold market witnessed a sharp rise on Tuesday, with the price of gold climbing by Rs 8,100 per tola, reaching a record Rs 248,500 per tola, the highest ever recorded in Nepal, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.

 

Previously, on Sunday, gold was trading at Rs 240,400 per tola.

 

Silver prices also saw an increase, rising by Rs 105 per tola to Rs 3,325 per tola, the federation reported.

 

Market analysts attribute the surge to rising international gold prices and increasing domestic demand.
