The price of gold in Nepal has reached a new high once again.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers, gold became more expensive by Rs 1,200 per tola on Monday (April 21), reaching a new all-time high of Rs 1.91 lakh per tola for fine gold.

This breaks the previous record set just a few days ago on Baisakh 4 (April 18), when the price of the yellow metal jumped by Rs 3,600 to Rs 1.906 lakh per tola.

On Sunday, gold was being traded at Rs 189,800 per tola.

Meanwhile, the price of silver has stayed the same. It is still trading at Rs 1,960 per tola, with no change from the previous day.

Gold prices have been rising steadily in recent weeks, making it more valuable for those who already own it.
