The price of gold decreased by Rs 1,400 per tola in the domestic market on Tuesday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association. Fine gold is now being traded at Rs 238,300 per tola, down from Rs 239,700 per tola recorded on Monday and Sunday.

Silver prices also slipped, falling by Rs 45 per tola. The metal is currently priced at Rs 3,015 per tola, compared to Rs 3,060 per tola a day earlier.

Market analysts attribute the decline to fluctuations in the international bullion market and a stronger U.S. dollar.
