The domestic market witnessed an increase in precious metal prices on Monday, with gold rising by Rs 500 per tola compared to the previous day.
The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association fixed the price of fine gold at Rs 243,300 per tola, up from Rs 242,800 per tola on Sunday.
Silver prices also saw a modest increase, climbing Rs 20 per tola to reach Rs 3,155 per tola. Market analysts attribute the rise to continued demand and global market trends.
