A pickup truck accident at Kattike Danda, on the border of Kummayak Rural Municipality Wards 2 and 3 in Panchthar, left four people injured. Locals rescued the victims and rushed them to Dharan for treatment.
According to Chief District Officer Arun Pokharel, no fatalities have been reported so far. Security personnel from the Army, Armed Police Force, and Nepal Police have been deployed to the site.
“The accident site is closer to Dharan, so the injured were sent there for treatment. Further details will be known once police complete the inspection,” Pokharel said.
