Flooding in Nawalpur’s Binayi Khola has completely blocked the Butwal–Narayangadh road, halting all traffic on both the main and alternative routes.

The Butwal–Narayangadh road section has been completely blocked due to flooding in the Binayi Khola area of Dumkibas, Nawalpur (Bardghat Susta East).
The floodwaters have damaged both the temporary diversion used by cargo trucks and the alternative route used by small and passenger vehicles, according to Superintendent of Police Yadav Dhakal.
He said that vehicles are now parked safely, as traffic has stopped along the Hongsi Gate–Jyamire route too. Rising water levels in the Kharange rivulet at Binayi Triveni-3 have further blocked movement.
"This situation has made it impossible for vehicles to pass through the Daunne–Dumkibas section," SP Dhakal explained.
Heavy and ongoing rainfall has repeatedly washed away the diversion over Binayi rivulet, which is part of the East-West Highway, worsening the road situation.
