Cloudy Skies with Rain Likely in Hilly Areas

Nepal is currently experiencing weather changes due to westerly and local winds, along with moist air coming in from the Arabian Sea, according to the Weather Forecasting Division of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.

Right now, the weather is mostly cloudy in many parts of the country.

Some places in Karnali, Lumbini, and Gandaki provinces have had light to moderate rain, along with thunder and lightning.

This afternoon, hilly areas are expected to stay partly to mostly cloudy, while other parts of the country will have partly cloudy skies.

There is a chance of light rain with thunder and lightning in some hilly regions. Some high hills and mountainous areas may also see light rain or snowfall in a few places.

Tonight, the weather in hilly areas will remain partly to mostly cloudy. The rest of the country is likely to be mostly clear to partly cloudy.

A few places in the hilly parts of Gandaki and Koshi provinces may see light rain with thunder and lightning.
