Former directors of Gorkha Media, Chhabilal Joshi and Ram Bahadur Khanal, who were arrested in connection with the embezzlement of funds from a cooperative organization, have been transferred from Pokhara to Parsa.
This move follows the issuance of arrest warrants related to the embezzlement case involving a small cooperative in Parsa. According to police sources, the two individuals were transported by car from Pokhara to Parsa on Sunday evening.
Today, they are scheduled to give statements at the District Attorney’s Office, after which they will be returned to Pokhara.
Meanwhile, preparations are also underway for the transfer of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairman Rabi Lamichhane from Pokhara to Parsa. Police have indicated that the exact timing of his transfer is yet to be determined.
Both Lamichhane and the Gorkha Media directors are currently in the custody of the District Police Office in Kaski in connection with the ongoing cooperative fraud investigation.
