The profit of the Agricultural Development Bank has dropped by 29%. According to the financial report for the second quarter of the current fiscal year, the bank's net profit is 95.75 million rupees.
Last year, during the same period, the profit was 1.3552 billion rupees. This shows a big decrease in profit. The bank's interest income has also dropped from 4.48 billion rupees last year to 3.48 billion rupees this year.
The bank's loan loss provision has reduced slightly. Last year, it was 1.09 billion rupees, but now it's 850 million rupees. The bank's earnings per share are 11.47 rupees. The proportion of non-performing loans in total loans has increased to 4.9%, compared to 3.02% last year.
